Last season we took on a task we haven't done since we started making stockings five years ago. Typically after we design and sew a stocking set, we then clean out our dining/living area and set up a Christmas mantle in our house. Usually in September, so it feels weird

The photos we have taken ourselves have worked wonderfully for us over the years, and we will continue to incorporate them on our site. But we had a difficult time keeping up with the photography. Additionally, some marketplaces prefer to have clean product shots without staging. So we decided to call a professional photographer and take some of our stockings in to their studio.
The results were great; high quality images that are versatile and clean. We did the shoot mid-season last year and most of the photos did not get used. Now we plan to use them all in our shop, as well as on Instagram and Facebook over the coming weeks.
